8:36 pm	Joe Versus...Doritos Locos Tacos I just finished eating a couple of the Doritos Locos Tacos now available at Taco Bell. I picked them up going inside to order then driving home. I mention this because this allowed the tacos to get soggy enough to make the first bite taste like a normal taco. Thus, I the taco gave a me a middling first impression, at best. The shell is pretty much a normal taco shell with the Doritos Nacho Cheese flavoring baked onto the shell. I did have a pleasant surprise when the dust didn't come off on my fingers. The individual tacos came in a carrier in addition to the traditional Taco Bell paper wrapper, which helped control dust residue. I enjoyed the taco much more when I bit into a drier part and I could tell it tasted like a Dorito. To wrap it up, I found the Doritos Locos Tacos were good not great. The price ($1.69, locally in Powder Springs, GA) was a bit much for the experience. I enjoyed the soft taco I had with the Doritos tacos much more. My suggestion is to have one as an addition not a substitution for one's usual taco order at Taco Bell. There is a combo deal that comes with a Doritos taco, regular taco, a Burrito Supreme and drink. Also, try it dine in for the best result. I give it a 2.4 out of 5. (Comment on this)
